Since opening our doors in Basel in 2004, every bit of work we’ve done has come through repeat clients and word of mouth.

 

Like many new consultancies, we started out offering a broad range of services. But after a few years working closely with clients, something became clear. The work we enjoyed most – and where we added the most value – sat at the intersection of communications strategy and leadership capability.

Focusing on that sweet spot allowed us to strip away the work we didn’t enjoy and concentrate on what we do best. After all, one of the advantages of running your own business is being able to focus on the work you genuinely enjoy doing.

O’Patrick brings decades of experience as a trusted advisor and strategist to CEOs and leadership teams around the world. He specializes in positioning leaders and organizations, navigating complex reputational challenges and managing high-stakes media environments. He has built a strong reputation as a communications strategist and executive coach, helping clients from scientists to senior executives define and tell their stories compellingly. Along the way he’s worked to protect reputations during crises and achieve strategic goals through tailored counsel, training and coaching. O’Patrick started his career at Time Magazine and ABC News before moving into senior corporate communications roles at Hitachi, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Syngenta, where he headed global communications. He has an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University.

For more than two decades, Jennifer has been working with individuals and companies to find their voice. A strategic thinker known for bringing calm to complexity, she supports leaders and in-house communications teams drive the clarity and alignment to achieve business objectives. Jennifer is particularly valued for her counsel and expertise in internal communications, specifically in employee engagement, issues management and change programs across complex, multi-site global organizations. She is also known for designing and delivering tailored coaching, workshops and training for individuals at every level - from interns to CEOs – to drive personal and professional growth. Jennifer brings a decade of leadership experience from iconic New York brands including Tavern on the Green, The Plaza Hotel, The Limited and Gymboree Corporation. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Management and Marketing from the State University of New York, Albany.

Kirsty advises organizations on how to build strong brands, enhance reputation and translate complex technologies into clear, compelling narratives. She’s worked across biotechnology, agritech, construction materials and automotive in challenging global environments. A trusted adviser to leadership teams, Kirsty is often brought in at pivotal moments – whether repositioning a brand, driving commercial growth or navigating periods of heightened scrutiny. As a former Chief Communications Officer and Head of Brand Strategy, she brings both strategic clarity and practical experience, working with startups and multinationals alike. Kirsty has an Executive Master of Science in Communication Management from Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.
