Hugh Stuart-Buttle | Manchester, UK

Hugh is an advisor and board member of O public relations. With more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, he has seen and done it all. He’s had marketing, commercial and communications roles in Europe, the US and Far East. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, product and corporate brand management and extensive issues and crisis management.

Hugh is a regular speaker at Conference Board in the US and Europe and a visiting lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.

Hugh established Stuart-Buttle Associates in 2000 to focus on strategic management of reputation, brand and communications, and works with a wide range of clients in numerous industries. Prior to setting up Stuart-Buttle Associates, he was Vice President of Communications for Ciba Specialty Chemicals where he planned the communications strategy for Ciba’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

In 2007, Hugh joined AstraZeneca pharmaceuticals to help build their R&D reputation and to manage a major change programme.

Hugh has an MBA and a degree in Biochemistry.
